Key Responsibilities
- Administer Oracle DB environments (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c) – installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance.
- Design & implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and backup/recovery solutions (RMAN, CommVault, NetApps).
- Manage standalone & clustered environments, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Work with GoldenGate replication for high availability.
- Automate DBA tasks with Shell/Perl scripting.
- Mentor junior DBAs and recommend improvements for performance & capacity.
Required Skills
- 4–7 years of Oracle DBA experience in production & development servers.
- Strong expertise in backup, recovery, DR, and migrations.
- Hands-on with GoldenGate and RMAN.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting/automation.
- Proven troubleshooting skills in mission-critical environments.
- Exposure to PostgreSQL is a plus.
