About the role
The Site Reliability Engineer II (US) position at TD is responsible for providing comprehensive systems/application support, research and analysis, administration, performance availability monitoring and management. This role requires a broad scope of responsibilities, including coaching and educating others, identifying root causes, and implementing remediation plans.
Responsibilities
- Supports applications/systems through accurate problem identification and timely resolution of production issues
- Manages incident management, monthly maintenance, and state of health monitoring
- Improves the stability of production environments by collaborating with key stakeholders
- Designs and operates large, complex systems in alignment with reliability engineering best practices
- Monitors system lifecycles and ensures specifications and functionality support business objectives
- Develops and implements process improvements to enhance revenue, customer experience, and reduce costs
- Monitors disaster recovery plans and participates in testing
- Implements process improvements to enhance performance and resource utilization
Requirements
- University or post-graduate degree in computer science or engineering
- 5+ years of software design or development experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of leading-edge theories, engineering practices, extensive coding, and scripting
- Advanced knowledge of the business, broader organization, technical environment, processes, procedures, tools, and relevant technology areas
- Ability to identify issues and gaps, and stay updated on emerging industry trends in the SRE discipline
- Experience in SQL Server, DevOps skills (AWS or Azure), Windows Administration, Banking or Financials, or FinTech
Skills
- SQL Server DBA experience

$79,160 - $127,670 USD
