Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Works as a member of an SRE team
• Reviews application requirements and recommends solutions and common design patterns
• Uses experience, deep technical knowledge, and creativity to simplify development and infrastructure provisioning workflows
• Configures and deploys cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CI tools like Concourse
• Proactively and continuously learns about new and relevant technologies
• Uses knowledge to influence other developers and advocate for best practices
• Implements dashboards, monitoring, and alerting for team services
• Supports users either in person or via Slack

Qualifications

• Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Built and deployed containerized applications and services
• Enjoyed automating manual tasks
• Worked in agile environments and comfortable iterating quickly
• Enjoyed collaborating and communicating with team members of varying skill sets and from different fields

Benefits

• The expected salary range is $85,000 - $130,000 for roles performed from Illinois
• Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience
