Site Reliability Engineer
TEKsystems is seeking an intermediate-level Site Reliability Engineer for a contract position based in Phoenix, AZ. This hybrid role focuses on ensuring Resy customers experience reliable service through modern cloud-based solutions.
About the role
The Resy Site Reliability Engineering group empowers engineers within self-organizing, cross-functional teams that span the stack—from front ends to APIs to databases. You’ll use modern languages and tools to operate software in public cloud environments, with full ownership of building, shipping, and operating your own systems.
Responsibilities
- Support applications in production, including incident response and post-incident reviews
- Apply observability engineering to proactively detect system degradation, understand system state, and quickly diagnose issues
- Investigate and resolve production issues
- Build automation to reduce toil and improve developer productivity
- Scope technical projects and break them into user stories and tasks
- Design and code secure, reliable, scalable, and extensible software systems
- Make sound technical decisions with input from teammates and contribute to cross-team technical conversations
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Define, implement, and maintain observability solutions for proactive system monitoring
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, including performance tuning and capacity planning
Requirements
- Intermediate-level experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related DevOps/Cloud roles
- Proficiency with DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS), Terraform, automation, and incident management

Pay
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $85.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
