Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina | Duration: Contract

About the role

In this contingent resource assignment, you will play a key role in supporting Small Business Lending and Deposit platforms, including digital banking applications used across the branch network. The team is currently modernizing applications and migrating workloads to the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) while improving production stability, observability, automation, and monitoring capabilities. You will bring strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and production support experience while driving modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Infrastructure Engineering.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Infrastructure Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Infrastructure Engineering to meet deliverables while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in daily stand-ups focused on production health and support activities.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts, and support tickets.
• Assist with production deployments and infrastructure changes.
• Improve monitoring and observability capabilities by building dashboards and alerting solutions.
• Develop automation to reduce manual support efforts.
• Support onboarding of applications migrating to OCP.
• Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, application support, or site reliability engineering.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in complex production environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce platforms, including application troubleshooting, deployment support, integrations, workflows, APIs, and platform operations.
• Experience with Salesforce architecture, security model, release management processes, and integration patterns.
• Experience leading incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and application performance management solutions such as Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, and ThousandEyes.
• Experience developing software automation and scripting solutions using technologies such as Python, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change management processes.
• Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent experience is a plus.

• Nice-to-Have Skills: Salesforce, nCino, Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools, AI-driven monitoring or observability initiatives.
• Industry Experience: Financial Services and large enterprise environments preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $55–$62 per hour
