Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading organization in cloud infrastructure and platform services, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their SRE Fleet team supporting global cloud platform operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a passion for operational excellence.

What's the job?

• Develop and maintain automation solutions to enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across global cloud environments
• Design and improve deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and operational tooling to support platform growth and stability
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and distributed systems issues to ensure high availability and performance
• Contribute to critical projects such as cluster build-outs by creating automation for rapid deployment of cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product management, and business partners across multiple time zones to deliver reliable solutions and reduce operational overhead

What's needed?

• Hands on experience supporting cloud-based production environments in roles such as Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining infrastructure automation using Ansible
• Experience programming in Ruby and developing automated tests with RSpec or similar frameworks
• Strong background in administering and troubleshooting Linux-based systems and distributed infrastructure environments
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI

Pay

$60-68/hr
