Site Readiness Strategic Sourcing Lead
About the role
The Supply Chain Team at Fluidstack is responsible for sourcing all the necessary services and resources required to bring a new data center site online. This includes site services, temporary power and water, security, waste management, and facilities support. The team also builds a sourcing playbook to ensure that each new site can procure its full service stack in weeks rather than months. They coordinate need-by dates with construction and operations to minimize any downtime.
Responsibilities
- Own sourcing for everything a new site needs to go live: site services, temporary power and water, security, waste, and facilities support.
- Build the site readiness sourcing playbook so each new site procures its full service stack in weeks, not months.
- Negotiate regional and multi-site agreements that new sites inherit on day one.
- Cook up need-by dates with construction and operations so no service gap ever idles a site.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals with experience in sourcing site services or indirect categories for multi-site industrial operations. You should have experience standing up procurement for a greenfield site and be familiar with every category that might be overlooked. Bonus points for experience in data center or construction site services, utility coordination, security services contracting, and facilities management agreements.
