Amentum is seeking a Site Program Lead for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award.
About the role
The Site Program Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects within the organization. This role requires a high level of expertise in both business management and engineering, ensuring that all projects align with the organization's strategic goals. The position involves significant decision-making authority and managing a team to achieve project objectives effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multifaceted projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, clients, and team members, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize project outcomes and organizational growth.
- Identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in business management or engineering, with at least eight (8) years of experience in management-level positions.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree in another field with a total of eight (8) years of experience in management and at least six (6) years in engineering or business.
- Candidates without a Bachelor’s Degree will be considered if they have:
- A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in management and at least six (6) years in engineering or business.
- Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
- Must possess a Top Secret (TS) security clearance at the start of the contract.
- Must be OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) WMA (Washington Metropolitan Area) based with frequent Temporary Duty Assignments (TDYs).
