Site Planner

About The Role

The Site Planner 1 is primarily responsible for completing lot fit requests, redraws, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed.

What You'll Do

• Complete lot fit requests
• Complete site plan redraws as assigned
• Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD
• Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code, and community guidelines, as they apply to lot fits and redraws
• From time to time, must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints

What We're Looking For

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required
• An Associate's degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction
• Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions
• Experience in civil drafting preferred
