SITE PHYSICIAN: Spanish Bilingual

About the role

The Site Physician provides professional, organizational, and administrative oversight of medical care at CLHC/Day Treatment Center, collaborating with community-based primary care providers and leading multidisciplinary team activities.

Responsibilities

• Directs medical care and treatment of patients, overseeing interdisciplinary care team.
• Collaborates with NP community-based primary care providers on shared patient populations.
• Improves quality, cost, and utilization of care for site participants through Utilization Review.
• Develops and supervises ambulatory medical services, serving as liaison with other medical institutions.
• Serves as a resource for clinical staff, conducting patient assessments, examinations, and treating patients in various settings.
• Facilitates medical education programs and provides in-service staff development and clinical teaching.
• Participates in preventive health screening, immunization programs, and community outreach initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Experience in Geriatrics preferred.
• Licensed to practice medicine in NY.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for up to 6 hours a day.
• Sitting for up to 6-8 hours a day for consecutive periods.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment, baggage, and supplies.
• Bending, squatting, climbing stairs, walking, and maneuvering steps.
• Agility and fine motor skills for operating and activating equipment and tools.
• Sight, visual requirements for assessing patients, reading orders, and documenting information.
• Auditory hearing and motor skills for listening and speaking clearly.
• Cognitive ability for decision-making, reasoning, and analysis.

Salary Range

$245,000.00 - $260,000.00 (1 – 3 years of Physician Experience)
$260,100.00 - $270,000.00 (4 – 9 years of Physician Experience)
$270,100.00 - $280,000.00 (10+ years of Physician Experience)
