About the Role
Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate Site Manager to serve as an integral part of the GK9PG Team. This full-time, salary-exempt position is the first line supervisor for all GK9PG employees at the site and serves as the primary client interface at the leadership level.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and manages scheduling for personnel and training to meet CETA and training requirements (two weeks in advance for all schedules).
- Facilitates badging where required and performs functions of the signatory authority for the company at the site.
- Provides travel assistance and reviews subordinate’s travel requests.
- Manages GK9PG equipment and property (computers, phones, diopters, expendable supplies, SCI, etc.); maintains/updates inventory with GK9PG Logistics Section; initiates reorder or purchase procedures as required.
- Manages training and compliance, ensuring annotation in GlobalView.
- Reviews a percentage of site videos per week/month and ensures annotation in GlobalView.
- Ensures explosive inventory is performed per shift (monthly for employee low explosives; per use, monthly, and quarterly for high explosives per company explosives policy).
- Ensures ATF compliance and monitors/schedules required certification training dates.
- Reviews GlobalView inputs of subordinates for accuracy and completeness.
- Consults with Area Manager on subordinate discipline and counsels subordinates as required.
- Performs Paycom duties: monitoring employee punches, timecard verification, PTO, managing overtime, and developing work/training schedules (two weeks in advance).
- Enforces handbook policy and GK9PG/TSA policies and procedures for the site.
- Manages customer relationships at the warehouse level and assists with coordinating new customer implementation.
- Facilitates new employee orientation and OJT requirements.
- Cascades and disseminates corporate-level communication to site-wide personnel.
- Responsible for overall site growth, customer satisfaction, and acquisition.
- Serves as the first level of compliance accountability for the site.
- Provides site-specific input to the Regional Director of Cargo Operations as required.
- Manages site or client-specific training as required.
- Enforces monthly K9 maintenance/preventive medication and ensures annotation in GlobalView.
- Performs QA/QC audits: reviews 20% of site videos per week and ensures all team videos are uploaded.
- Reviews training and utilization records of subordinates for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitors required recertification dates of assigned K9 teams with Regional Director of Cargo Operations & Director of K9 Training.
- Coordinates start-ups/demos as part of business development.
- Participates in scheduled weekly briefings/meetings with HQ as requested.
- Conducts OJT for newly assigned teams.
