Site Manager's Main Objective
As a Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a new clinical research site, ensuring all activities align with study protocols and maintaining strict compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading by example in delivering warm, excellent care to every patient at every visit.
- Ensuring patient visits are conducted with 100% protocol adherence, accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Operating independently in a new site environment, establishing workflows and day-to-day routines.
- Building the foundation for future team growth by creating a strong operational base for additional hires.
- Maintaining strict compliance with study protocols, site procedures, and quality standards.
- Partnering with physicians and other site stakeholders to organize, communicate, and manage study activities.
- Solving problems proactively and adapting quickly in a start-up environment.
- Supporting communication with sponsors, monitors, and external partners.
- Growing the site responsibly with an ownership mindset around efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
- Preparing for new clinical research studies as they are awarded to the site.
- Traveling for training and site support as needed.
The Right Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing operations across a clinical or business site.
- 5+ years of professional working experience.
- The ability to drive teams while contributing to patient visits.
Additional qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Coffee drinkers preferred, tea drinkers accepted.
