Site Logistics Coordinator
About the role
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for efficiently managing the incoming material to the project site.
Responsibilities
- Gather information about incoming deliveries and the needs of the various construction teams.
- Cookordinate/control staging of trucks and their movements on the production site.
- Coordinate the flow of material from arrival to site for usage by the construction teams or delivery to stock; minimize movements/picks and handling damages, maximize space utilization.
- Ensure that offloading is made safely and that material is properly placed.
- Provide input to the goods receipt process.
- Make and report results of incoming inspections.
- Support the store man with stock transfers.

Qualifications
- English speaking
- Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organize and coordinate work with others.
- Buils good relationships with peers.
- Is persuasive, assertive, demonstrates diplomacy and tact.
- Demonstrates professionalism (e.g., cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, and non-defensiveness, accepting constructive criticism, and maintaining confidence).
- Effectively handles stressful situations (resolving conflicts and meeting deadlines).
- An approach that simplifies procedures.
Basics
- Minimum 5 years of experience from coordinating logistics operations.
- Experience from construction work plus store keeping is a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Internet-based principles.
Accountabilities
- An efficient and safe flow of materials from incoming trucks to the construction teams.
- Staging costs (trucks waiting to offload).
- Minimum of handling damages.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the store man with stock transfers.
Travel Requirements
100% site based in (but may require occasional limited international travel).
