About the role

The Multi-Site Leaders at Amazon are responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including budgeting, personnel development, and facility management. They are expected to lead teams across multiple facilities, ensuring that performance goals are met and that the organization builds a strong leadership pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to meet and exceed business plans.
• Ensure the overall safety, quality, and performance of facilities, and provide feedback to leaders and hold them accountable for their performance.
• Proactively share best practices across departments, shifts, and the network, working closely with support staff such as HR, Finance, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, Safety, and other leaders.
• Work closely with support staff to build and secure resources for projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies.
• Prior experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
• Able to work a variety of hours, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
• Experience organizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented with the ability to problem solve independently.

Additional Job Elements

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, both below the waist and above the head.
• Standing/walking for up to 10-12 hours, walking in the facility and around area with great frequency; some facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
• Able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation, including chilled and frozen spaces with great frequency.
• Able to access all areas of the building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation).

Pay

Base salary range: $135,000.00 - $182,700.00 USD annually

Schedule

Flexibility to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
