About the role

The Multi-Site Leaders at Amazon Grocery Logistics are responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including budgeting, team management, and ensuring high-quality customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation and implementation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to meet and exceed business plans.
• Ensure the safety, quality, and performance of facilities, and provide feedback and hold leaders accountable for their performance and departmental performance.
• Proactively share best practices across all departments, shifts, and the network.
• Work closely with support staff to build and secure resources for projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 7+ years of direct management experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies.
• Prior experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
• Able to work a variety of hours, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented with the ability to problem solve independently.

Additional Job Elements

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, walking in the facility and around area with great frequency; some facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
• Able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation, including chilled and frozen spaces with great frequency.
• Able to access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation).
