About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Private Utility Locator to support preconstruction and construction operations by identifying and mapping underground utilities. This role plays a critical part in reducing risk, improving planning accuracy, and supporting VDC integration.

Responsibilities

• Perform utility locating using EMF, GPR, acoustic tools, and rodders
• Conduct electromagnetic sweeps to identify conductive utilities
• Perform GPR scans for non-conductive utilities
• Trace sewer/storm lines using locatable rodder
• Collect data using RTK equipped EMF Locator
• Mark utilities per APWA standards
• Identify site constraints and conflicts
• Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures

Requirements

• 1–3+ years utility locating experience
• Experience with EMF equipment
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications (Preferred)

• GPR experience
• Mapping experience
• Knowledge of utility systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather, including high temperatures
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
