Site Engineer - Heavy Civils

Responsibilities

• Setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings, conducting regular checks
• Verifying plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
• Maintaining quality control in accordance with client specifications and recording results
• Providing engineering support to resolve technical issues
• Conducting pre-start site surveys
• Ensuring timely handovers of works and maintaining quality records without defects, collaborating with the Project Manager and installation teams
• Ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Performing site calibration checks
• Assisting in resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems

Requirements

• Experience with Cofferdams, Backfill, Clean Water pipework installation, and Heavy Civils (advantageous)
• A proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects
• A solid understanding of construction methods, health & safety, and legal regulations
• SSSTS, CSCS, Blue EUSR card (water hygiene card) desirable
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with site-based teams and clients
• Proven troubleshooting skills
