About the Role

CORA's Community Service Division is currently hiring a full-time After School Site Director to work at St. Martin de Porres School, located at 2300 W. Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19132. The position offers a starting salary of $48,500 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Build impactful relationships with children, youth, and families.
• Engage students, families, and other community agencies to connect families to the program.
• Become a pillar in the school community by building and maintaining relationships with school administration, teachers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure program visibility and community support.
• Complete administrative duties to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Create high-quality, fun, and engaging programming in literacy, STEAM, and social emotional learning.
• Design a safe environment for all staff and students through best practices in policies and procedures.
• Grow and supervise passionate leaders into role models and advocates for the youth in the program.

Requirements

• Associates' degree with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field; or
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field.

Qualifications

• Physical expectations include walking and standing for the duration of the shift (4 hours during school year, 8 hours during summer), walking at a pace to stay with a group of children during field trips, lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs, transitioning between sitting, standing, and kneeling as needed.

Summer Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
School Year Schedule: Monday - Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
