Responsibilities
- Build impactful relationships with children, youth, and families.
- Engage students, families, and other community agencies to connect families to the program.
- Become a pillar in the school community by building and maintaining relationships with school administration, teachers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure program visibility and community support.
- Complete administrative duties to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Create high-quality, fun, and engaging programming in literacy, STEAM, and social emotional learning.
- Create a safe environment for all staff and students through best practices in policies and procedures.
- Grow and supervise passionate leaders into role models and advocates for the youth in the program.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field;
- or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field.
Qualifications
- Physical Expectations: Walk and stand for the duration of the shift (4 hours during school year, 8 hours during summer). Walk at a pace to stay with a group of children during field trips. (Length of walking varies for trip). Transition between sitting, standing, and kneeling, as needed. Lift and carry 25 lbs.
Skills
- Positive and energetic staff who are dedicated to giving students an amazing experience every day.
- Staff with a desire to grow and develop leadership skills in the education/child care field.
- Staff with supervisory skills and able to lead a team of 5-10 staff.
- Staff who prioritize safety and supervision during program time.
- Staff who are organized and can meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Staff who maintain professionalism at all times.

$44,000 starting rate
Schedule
Monday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
