Site Director Liasion

About the role

The All Star Kids Site Liaison Representative must possess a passion for and commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of all Site Directors, Assistant Site Directors and Child Care staff employed by the Bennington Public Schools Foundation All Star Kids Program. The program provides a safe and interactive way to learn life skills while training staff in the Standard of Excellence befitting a premier program.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing company norms, processes and goals to maintain your knowledge.
• Detect opportunities for meaningful collaboration within and across the programs operating site locations.
• Relaying company interest and working to further them.
• Elucidating, discussing and implementing actions that expand our goals.
• Perceiving and working together to remedy concerns surrounding the program.
• Flexible, amicable and community-orientated approach.
• Adherence to designated procedural guidelines.
• Educating all staff on the proper operations of a licensed before and after school based child care program.
• Establish meeting days and times with Site Directors in order to work with them 1:1 as well as in an actively running program site.
• Establish safe indoor and outdoor meeting locations as well as oversite of all Safety Drills in accordance with the State Licensing guidelines.
• Ensure that Site Directors complete all coaching applications of their staff and that all staff meet all training requirements.
• Maintain open lines of communication with Education Program Coordinator as well as with all Site Directors and site staff regarding any questions or concerns, registration issues, medication issues to include proper paperwork and documentations, program promotion, staff motivation, site changes for staff when ratios need to be met due to absences, vacations or call-outs, feedback and feed forward strategies, identifying gaps in coaching techniques, preparing additional training strategies with staff operating on the 30, 60, 90 day evaluation check in, etc.
• Possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Promote the program and manage/participate in the employee recruitment process.
• Ensure the staff and the site meets all licensing requirements and training compliance standards.
• Serves as a Sub Site Director as needed in order to maintain proper site management at locations.
• Champion the All Star Kids Program and have fun!

Requirements

• Must be 19 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in organized group activities for school-aged children.
• Ability to supervise children and staff in various settings such as gyms, outdoor areas, and during field trips.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from Bennington.
• Complete Nebraska Child Abuse & Neglect Registry, Nebraska Adult Abuse Central Registry, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in organized group activities for school-aged children.
• Ability to supervise children and staff in various settings such as gyms, outdoor areas, and during field trips.

Pay

Hourly Pay: Starts at $21/hr (based on experience).

Schedule

Hours: Monday–Friday 6:15 - 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. with the option to work up to 40 hours a week.
