About the role
The Site Director – Developmental Center at ChildServe is responsible for driving the overall success of the Developmental Center. This includes leading programs, shaping processes, and ensuring operational excellence across all areas. The role also involves creating an inclusive environment that allows children with special healthcare needs to participate in childcare activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, and accreditations for each program within the Developmental Center.
- Ensure effective processes for intake/referral and assessments for children entering the day program and childcare services.
- Collaborate with ABA, outpatient therapy, nursing, and operations teams to ensure high-quality care for all children, while supporting timely day program enrollments and maintaining full census.
- Supervise the team through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Promote engagement and satisfaction to drive retention.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure achievement of budget through effective oversight of authorizations, utilization, billing, and key business processes.
- Ensure facility needs are met through collaboration with facility support, managing work orders, and facility appearance standards.
- Effectively manage family feedback and concern resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or child development related fields.
- Five years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities, child development, and/or autism.
- Five years of leadership experience.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the classrooms and center as needed, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
Skills
- Strong leadership skills.

- Knowledge of developmental disabilities and child development principles.
