• Monday-Fridays, 6:30am-8:15am
• 2:45-5:45pm

Pay & Benefits

• Starting at $24.00/hour
• Part-time benefits are available

Qualifications

• 21+ and a bachelor's degree or associates degree in a child-related field such as elementary education, child psychology or recreation management from a college or university is preferred
• Flexible and demonstrates a passion to work with children in a learning environment
• Provides a supportive and caring environment for children
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with children, parents, staff, and other management
• Successfully passes and maintains criminal history background checks and Child Protective Services Registry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Well-organized, thorough, and highly reliable/dependable
• Remains calm and maintains a high-level of professionalism and personal work ethics/integrity at all times
• Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Direct instructional experience in a licensed childcare program, an elementary public or charter school, Department of Health licensed camp or an approved private educational organizational system.

• Trains AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder
• Encourages creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents
• Leads a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Works collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site
