Lead with Vision. Build Excellence. Transform Your Community. We are seeking a Site Director to lead comprehensive programming and create safe, nurturing environments that encourage children's holistic development.

Location: Union Corners - 2674 Milwaukee Street, Madison, WI. This is a full-time, part-year position with a schedule that includes built-in summer break, 2 weeks winter break, and spring break.

Responsibilities

• Provide site leadership to create safe, nurturing environments that encourage children's holistic development
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in low-income, at-risk environments
• Ensure delivery of quality, comprehensive services including education, health, nutrition, and family support
• Provide supervision and performance feedback for reporting staff
• Follow Head Start Performance Standards, Reach Dane policies, and accreditation criteria
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, children, staff, and community partners
• Manage site operations and ensure compliance with licensing and program standards
• Support parent involvement and connect families with necessary resources and referrals

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development required; Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred; Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or Child Development preferred
• DPI certification in ECE, ECEEN, or related field desirable
• Minimum 1 year in early care education setting with preschool teaching experience; experience with low-income families
• Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, alignment with agency mission, supervisory capabilities
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with adequate insurance

$32.00/hour - Salaried position
