Site Digital IT Manager Internship

Job Location: Cincinnati General Offices

About the role

Procter & Gamble is seeking interns passionate about leading end-to-end IT engineering and operational technology (OT) for a manufacturing site or distribution center. In this role, you will ensure all critical IT/OT applications and plant infrastructure run efficiently with proper resilience to maintain compliance and security. You will drive continuous improvement, build supply chain experience, and gain deep mastery in IT operations as a change agent at the site. This role will be conducted at one of our plant locations in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Site Digital Technology Leader: Integrate P&G digital technologies into the site’s digital master plan, aligning investments with business priorities and value creation. Lead critical projects, drive digital operational excellence, mitigate system risks, and ensure compliant deployment of digital solutions. Implement scalable technologies and processes to improve efficiency using ITIL, project management, and leadership expertise.
• Site Cyber Security Leader: Develop, deploy, and execute the site security strategy through industry-leading security technologies, systems, and processes. Lead threat identification and risk mitigation across the plant while maintaining a defense-in-depth security posture for Industrial Control Systems, network security, endpoint security, and application security. Oversee incident response, conduct self-assessments, and implement risk mitigation plans to ensure compliance with industry best practices and internal policies. Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

As an intern, you will experience a subset of the above responsibilities.

Requirements

• Available for a 12-week internship during the summer of 2027 (mid/late May through early August).
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with manufacturing technology and systems operations.
• Understanding of incident management, organizational change, and problem management processes.
• Foundational knowledge of network operations or application management.
• Understanding of cybersecurity standards and ability to support P&G’s cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strong leadership abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Pay

Starting pay/salary range: $29.00 - $50.00 per hour.
