Site Contracts Manager

Remote (U.S.) — 6‑month contract with likely extension; must be available 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST. Two openings.

About the role

Seeking an experienced Site Contracts Manager to lead clinical site contract and budget negotiations across multiple studies. This individual will serve as the primary escalation point for contracting issues, manage CRO relationships, and partner closely with Legal and Clinical Operations to ensure study timelines are met.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate site contracts and budgets with investigator sites and CRO partners
• Serve as the primary escalation point for legal and financial contracting issues
• Hold CROs accountable for quality, compliance, and timeline performance
• Partner with Legal to negotiate contract language and apply fallback provisions
• Track contracting metrics, timelines, and study progress
• Manage multiple global studies simultaneously
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Drive issue resolution and process improvements across contracting activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of clinical site contracting experience
• Direct experience negotiating site contracts and budgets with investigator sites
• Strong knowledge of CRO oversight and vendor management
• Experience managing contracts across multiple concurrent clinical studies
• Global clinical trial contracting experience preferred
• Familiarity with ICH‑GCP and country‑specific regulatory requirements
• Ability to partner effectively with Legal, Clinical Operations, and Compliance teams
• Bachelor’s degree required (JD preferred)

Qualifications

• Pharma, biotech, or CRO experience
• Strong site budget negotiation experience, including Fair Market Value (FMV) assessments
• Experience supporting study startup and site activation efforts
• Proven ability to lead contracts from initiation through execution
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities
