About the role
We are seeking a local senior Civil Engineering Manager to provide mentoring and technical oversight on our fast-paced TMT workload. The ideal candidate will have experience with large private industrial market sectors, particularly data centers.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
- Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
- Administer administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections
- Involvement in marketing planning, proposals and interviews
- Direct involvement with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues
- Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
- Implement, monitor and support company policy
- Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel
- Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in a Civil engineering role
- Minimum of 4 consecutive years of land development experience in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a management and oversight role
- Land development experience in Chicago and the surrounding areas
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Good leadership and organizational skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
