Site / Civil Section Manager

About the role

We are seeking a local senior Civil Engineering Manager to provide mentoring and technical oversight on our fast-paced TMT workload. The ideal candidate will have experience with large private industrial market sectors, particularly data centers.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
• Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
• Administer administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections
• Involvement in marketing planning, proposals and interviews
• Direct involvement with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues
• Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
• Implement, monitor and support company policy
• Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel
• Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a Civil engineering role
• Minimum of 4 consecutive years of land development experience in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a management and oversight role
• Land development experience in Chicago and the surrounding areas
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Good leadership and organizational skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
