Responsibilities
- Selected candidate will be part of a multi-discipline team who design and develop construction plans for site civil/infrastructure projects.
- Specific work may include but is not limited to: Client communication
- Construction document (plan and specifications) and technical reports preparation and/or oversight
- Engineering analyses and cost estimates
- Quality control/quality assurance in order to deliver a quality design product.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or proven equal experience.
- Three (3) years of experience directly related to the design and execution of Land Development Projects required.
- Five or more years preferred.
- FE required.
- PE in the State of Maryland preferred.
- Preparation of reports, exhibits and Site/Civil Construction Plans.
- Strong technical capabilities in various Software Applications including but not limited to: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Abode Acrobat.
- Strong understanding of civil site design for retail, commercial, residential, and urban redevelopment projects required.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D or other model-based software is desirable.
- Experienced individual must be capable of delivering projects that meet technical requirements on time and within budget.
- Skill sets must include the ability to perform and /or direct civil related engineering work on diverse design projects across various market segments and with varying degrees of complexity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices, standards, and Dewberry-specific software programs.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to 109,000.
