About the role

We'll count on you to assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentations. You'll perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage. You'll complete routine engineering assignments, working on projects with clear objectives and limited variables. You'll also handle administrative duties related to project management for civil/site projects.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in site studies and designs
  • Create contract documentation and graphic presentations
  • Perform site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage
  • Handle routine engineering assignments
  • Manage administrative tasks for civil/site projects
  • Contribute to small and larger projects independently or with senior engineers
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • EIT certificate preferred, Coordinator title for those without EIT
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
  • Demonstrated experience with civil engineering software like Bentley ConceptStation, Autodesk Infraworks, and Civil 3D
  • Specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) as required
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
