In the role of Site Civil EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to: Prepare site civil engineering plans including site layout, grading, utility, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control designs in AutoCAD Civil 3DPrepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, permit applications, and contract documentsAssist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentationCoordinate with municipal agencies and regulatory authorities to support permitting and entitlement effortsConduct site research, zoning reviews, and due diligence investigations to identify project constraints and opportunitiesPerform quantity takeoffs, cost-related calculations, and other engineering analyses to support project developmentPerform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projectsIndependently manage small tasks and assignments while supporting senior staff on larger and more complex projectsAssist with site visits, field investigations, and construction-phase support activitiesLearn and apply HDR standards, procedures, and quality requirements while progressing toward professional licensurePerform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other software (Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, InfraWorks, ArcGIS, or similar platforms)Knowledge of site development principles including grading, stormwater management, drainage design, utility layout, and erosion and sediment controlBasic understanding of local, state, and jurisdictional design standards and permitting processesAbility to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while also working independently on assigned tasksKnowledge of civil engineering documentation and plan presentation, and how they interact with other discipline modelsExperience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as Hydraflow, PCSWMM, PondPack, HydroCAD, Bentley StormCAD, or similar softwarePrevious internship in site civil engineering, land development, transportation, municipal, or water resourcesStrong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and collaboration with project teams and clientsMaster's degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplineEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred.
