About the role
The Site Assistant will provide caretaking support to the academy, ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and grounds are maintained in accordance with the required standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and general appearance of the buildings and grounds are maintained in accordance with the required standards.
- Support the academy in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
- Perform cleaning tasks as directed, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Maintain equipment and facilities in good working order.
- Assist with the maintenance of the academy’s grounds, including planting and watering plants, and trimming hedges.
- Support the academy in organizing and managing events as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties listed above.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (if required).

Pay and Schedule
- Salary: £24,654 - £26,141 per annum.
- Hours: 37 hours per week.
- Shifts: 7.5 hours starting and finishing between 6am and 8pm in a weekly pattern.
Schedule
- Permanent position.
- All year round.
- Required to start as soon as possible.
