Simulation Engineer (FEA)

About the role

This role will support the virtual product validation of earth movers & mining equipment. Key contributions will include FEA modeling, analysis, post-processing, and report creation with lead support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate FEA modeling from offshore
• Define loads and boundary conditions
• Solve models and debug (non-linear problems)
• Create reports and present results to customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 4–6 years of FEA experience with the following tools:
  • Abaqus (must)
  • NX Nastran
  • NX Modeling
  • HyperMesh (must)
• Machines with heavy structures experience is a must
• Good understanding of vibration and non-linear bolted joint analysis
• Strong ability in result interpretation and proposing new designs based on results
