About the role

The Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives. We deliver integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services in areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, refinement, and execution of organizational strategy.
  • Advises senior leadership on SIMA priorities, emerging issues, and decision options.
  • Coordinates across organizations to align efforts with strategic goals.
  • Conducts research, trend analysis, and assessments to support project execution.
  • Develops executive-level briefings, reports, and recommendations for leadership review.
  • Maintains progress against strategic objectives and identifies risks, gaps, and dependencies.
  • Supports prioritization of initiatives, resources, and organizational investments.
  • Facilitates strategic planning sessions, working groups, and leadership engagements.
  • Ensures consistent communication of strategic direction across the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting senior-level government, military, or executive leadership.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Prior experience supporting Navy, DoD, or other federal command environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with working alongside senior military and civilian leadership is preferred.
  • Experience in surface ship maintenance, repair, and readiness generation is preferred.
  • Experience preparing high-level correspondence, talking points, and executive summaries is preferred.
  • Experience managing strategic initiatives is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting senior-level government, military, or executive leadership.

Pay

Reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $207,800.

Schedule

On average, travel is expected to be 0-30% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
