Sim Maintenance Tech III

About the role

The Simulation Technician III, position maintains/repairs electronics in support of the Army’s Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Program. This position is in support of the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS).

Responsibilities

• The Simulation Technician III position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Training Devices
• Performs preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
• Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
• Performs inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
• Use spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines
• Capture and records accurate maintenance history ensuring corrective measures and repairs are documented
• Applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
• Supervise, provide direction/guid
