Silver Sneakers Exercise Instructor

Location: Schalmo Family YMCA, Canal Fulton, OH and Paul & Carol David YMCA, Jackson Township, OH (as needed).

Schedule

• Every other Monday morning (two classes)
• Every Tuesday morning

Pay

$11.00 - $16.00 per hour (starting rate).

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet members with enthusiasm.
• Design class formats appropriate for participants and class type.
• Serve as a positive role model.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Address difficult situations using YMCA Character Values as a guide.

Requirements

• Willingness to specialize in the senior population (training provided).
• Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR and AED certification preferred (will be provided if needed).
• Certification from a nationally recognized fitness accreditation agency.
• Able to teach multiple class formats (preferred).
