Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing strategies by evaluating current and potential suppliers to ensure reliable partnerships, cost efficiency, and stable material supply amid evolving semiconductor market conditions
- Assess supplier manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, equipment, and production capacity to support new product development and long-term semiconductor production
- Drive improvements in supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery reliability, lead times, and overall supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to support product development, resolve component issues, and ensure manufacturable design decisions
- Manage supplier relationships and procurement activities including, negotiations, purchase orders, and supplier performance tracking, while maintaining strong partnerships with foundries, packaging providers, and component vendors
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, or engineering; or a graduate degree with at least two years of related professional experience
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Willingness to work full-time, onsite, in Atlanta, GA
Preferred Skills
- Procurement or strategic sourcing experience within the semiconductor industry, including custom silicon manufacturing and OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) environments
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor supply chain, including foundries, OSAT providers, global sourcing dynamics, and market pricing trends
- Experience supporting the semiconductor product lifecycle, with demonstrated success working cross-functionally during product development and supplier qualification
- Proficiency with supplier sourcing and negotiations, ERP/MRP procurement systems, and strong communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
