About the role

We are open for this role to be located in Austin, Boxborough, Oregon, and California.

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout IP program delivery, from kickoff through post-silicon support
  • Own statement of work (SOW), program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across analog IP, digital IP, and SoC integration efforts
  • Coordinate cross-functional global teams including design, verification, applications, and sales
  • Identify technical, resource, and schedule risks early and drive mitigation plans
  • Report program health and blockers to internal leadership and customers in a way that drives action

Impact

  • Accelerate customer product launches by keeping IP delivery on schedule and reducing integration friction
  • Reduce delivery risk across high-stakes programs where timing, quality, and customer trust are non-negotiable
  • Strengthen Synopsys' reputation as a reliable IP partner by consistently delivering what was promised
  • Drive broader adoption of Synopsys IP by ensuring customers have a smooth experience
  • Shape program management standards across the IP organization

Requirements

  • BSEE or equivalent, with 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience (we are growing this team with multiple levels available)
  • Proven technical program management experience in SoC design, analog IP, or digital IP development
  • Direct experience managing customer-facing programs where you owned schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows, IP integration challenges, and what it takes to get a chip to tape out
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, across geographies and disciplines

Qualities

  • You can look at a program plan and spot the dependency that will become a problem in six weeks, not after it is already late
  • When a customer escalates an issue, you listen, clarify, own the follow-through, and close the loop
  • You stay organized across multiple simultaneous programs without losing track of what matters most
  • You push back when a commitment does not make sense, and you do it in a way that builds trust rather than friction

The Team

Work with the Silicon IP Program Management Office, collaborating globally with engineering, sales, and support teams to deliver innovative solutions.
