Signals Analyst position supporting our National Security customer in Colorado Springs, CO. $2000 sign-on bonus or reimbursable relocation available.

Salary of $83,000.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to get and maintain a CI Poly

Responsibilities

  • Identify signals of interest in foreign satellite communications
  • Demonstrate relevant, senior-level, or higher Signals Analysis (SA) experience in NSA production offices, service cryptological production elements, and/or other relevant SIGINT production agencies

Qualifications

  • Understand signal theory (power, frequency, modulation, phase, polarity, propagation)
  • Familiarity with modulation techniques (AM, FM, BPSK, FSK, QPSK, PSK, QAM, PCM)
  • Knowledge of multiple access strategies (FDMA, TDMA, CDMA, DAMA)
  • Understanding of encoding/decoding transmission (physical layer)
  • Familiarity with signal technologies and standards (DVB-S2, iDirect, HughesNET, ComTech)
  • Knowledge of linear recursive sequences, convolutional coding, and protocol stacks
  • Demonstrate understanding of the OSI model and standard protocols (TCP, UDP)
  • Experience with IP subnetting, telecommunications technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 networks, and Classless Interdomain Routing (CIDR)
  • Completion of recommended NSA Courses NETA2402/NETA2108 (Analysis II) and any of the following: RPTG2238, RPTG2235, RPTG3225, RPTG3222 (Basic Analytical Reporting) or equivalent curriculum
  • Completion of SIGC2401 (Introductory TDMA) and/or SIGC3200 (Advanced VSAT Analysis) or equivalent curriculum
  • Completion of Military Cryptologic Continuing Education Program (MCCEP) Phase 1 and 451 (Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course) or 452 (Advanced Communications Signals Analysis Course) or equivalent governmental or commercial training
