About the role
Shift is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Work in a laboratory environment to validate designs and correlate measurements
- Take measurements and run experiments using VNA, TDR and other test equipment
- Create and execute test plans
- Follow best practices and methods for high-speed electrical measurement
- Understand industry leading techniques and analyze impact for implementation
- Manage test queue per priorities set by engineering management
- Generate reports and provide analysis for high-speed test data as needed
Required Skills And Experience
- A systematic approach to defining and solving problems
- Experience in an electrical test environment (Signal Integrity Experience is preferred)
- Familiarity with high volume cable manufacturing methods & processes is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change very quickly
- Ability to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs
- Communication skills are a must as this person will interact with engineers in different disciplines & sometimes with members of management
Preferred Education
Associate degree in engineering, related field, or relevant experience.
