Sign Production Specialist/Installer

About the Role

A full-time Sign Production Specialist position with opportunities for ongoing training, skills growth, and career advancement in the sign industry.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on predetermined substrates or media.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, using techniques appropriate for size, type, and complexity.
• Operate and maintain printers.
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by reading and interpreting Work Orders and proofing for errors.
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center or production manager.
• Handle all offsite sign and print media installations.
• Assess environments for installation needs and techniques, verifying measurements before starting.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members as required.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods (4+ hours).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use repetitive hand motions for vinyl application.
• Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
• Clean driving record.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Scissor lift and bucket truck experience preferred but not required.
• Experience installing a variety of signs and graphics preferred but not required.

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
