About the role

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district to fill a contract Sign Language Interpreter position for the 2026–2027 school year.

Duration: ASAP – 5/27/2027
Location: Abilene, TX
Location type: On-site
Grade/age levels: Kindergarten, Elementary School, High School

Schedule

• Full-time or part-time
• 40 hours per week

Pay

Weekly pay range: $37.50 – $43.13 per hour on a local contract

Requirements

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or in process in state of practice
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
