Location: Dewey. Work hours: 6.35 hours per day.

Requirements

• Pre-qualification documentation (one of the following):
  • A passing score from San Juan Unified School District’s Proficiency Exam (testing date must be April 2005 or later). No other school district’s proficiency exam will be accepted. Schedule an exam appointment.
  • Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST).
  • Official transcripts demonstrating completion of two years of college (48 semester or 60 quarter units).
  • Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). If your degree or transcripts are from a foreign college or university, you must have coursework evaluated for equivalency to a degree or transcripts from an accredited United States college or university.
• Valid certification provided by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent, or a score of 4.0 or higher on a state-approved evaluation examination (e.g., EIPA, ESSE-I/R, or NAD/ACCI).
• Valid California Class C driver’s license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles within 30 days of hire or before driving any vehicle requiring this license.
