About the role
Sign Language Instructors provide sign language instruction to children/students who are either Deaf, Hard of Hearing or hearing but utilize sign language to communicate. Instructors work with families or staff and peers in their homes or in school/childcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide sign language instruction to children/students who are either Deaf, Hard of Hearing or hearing but utilize sign language to communicate.
- Work with families or staff and peers in their homes or in school/childcare settings.
- Services will be provided in person in Vermont.
- Coverage area will be White River Jct. to Brattleboro.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- ASL fluency
- Experience teaching sign language
- Experience working with children, families and teachers
