Sign Installer

Join our team at Signarama Nampa as a Part-Time Sign Installer. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and seeing projects through from start to finish. While prior sign industry experience is preferred, it is not required—we provide paid, hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Sign Installation: Install interior and exterior signs, including wall signs, dimensional lettering, post-and-panel signs, ADA signage, window graphics, banners, and custom signage. Prepare surfaces and ensure secure, accurate installation.
• Fabrication & Shop Support: Assist with basic sign fabrication, assembly, and packaging for delivery. Help load and unload installation vehicles.
• Equipment & Tool Operation: Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment. Maintain tools and keep work areas clean.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure installations meet company standards. Follow safe work practices indoors, outdoors, and at elevated heights.
• Customer Service: Represent Signarama professionally at customer locations. Communicate courteously with customers and coworkers.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to complete projects accurately and on schedule.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at varying heights.
• Experience reading tape measures and drawings.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sign installation experience or employment with a sign shop.
• Construction, carpentry, fabrication, maintenance, or similar trade experience.
• Experience operating lifts or other access equipment.
• Basic vinyl application experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably at varying heights.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work on installation sites for extended periods.

Schedule

This is a flexible part-time position. Hours vary based on installation workload, customer scheduling, weather conditions, and your availability. Projects are generally scheduled in advance, though occasional adjustments may be necessary.
