Sign Installer
Daily Responsibilities
- Install a wide variety of signage, including dimensional letters, vinyl graphics, ADA signage, standoff-mounted panels, window films, wall murals, and more on various surfaces.
- Conduct site visits or assess project notes to plan for each install, confirm measurements, understand surfaces, and ensure readiness of hardware and tools.
- Affix signs and materials before installs, organize tools and hardware kits, and coordinate with the QC team.
- Operate hand tools, drills, lifts, ladders, and measuring devices.
- Solve problems related to mounting limitations, uneven surfaces, or unforeseen obstructions.
- Document job progress, take completion photos, and communicate with the team.
Required Skills
- Experience in signage, construction, or related hands-on fields.
- Familiarity with sign types, mounting methods, and fasteners.
- Comfort using ladders, lifts, drills, and hand tools.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and be on your feet most of the day.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Pay and Benefits
The Sign Installer position at FASTSIGNS Oakland offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 annually.
