HybridFull-time

About the Company

Metrea delivers effects-as-a-service to national security partners across five domains and more than a dozen mission areas, including airborne ISR, electronic warfare, secure communications, aerial refueling, special air missions, aerial firefighting, and advanced simulation. We own the whole stack: designing, building, and operating turnkey capabilities that give our partners decisive, asymmetric advantage against rapidly evolving threats.

Our operating model is built around three interlocking pillars: Support Groups (global shared-services), Core Groups (mission capability development), and Market Groups (regional alignment). Headquartered in Washington, DC, with facilities across the United States, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

About the Group

The Electromagnetic and Cyber Group (EM&C) develops flexible and survivable advanced electronic warfare and secure communications equipment while providing leading signals intelligence, electronic warfare, and cyber expertise. Specializations include signal classification, direction finding, advanced geolocation techniques, waveform development (MANET, LPI/LPD), and special-purpose radios for government customers.

About the Role

We are looking for a SIGINT Geospatial Analyst to combine SIGINT observables with geospatial context to produce location-based insights, pattern-of-life, network mapping, and operational reporting. You will support geolocation, infrastructure characterization, and time-sensitive decision support using SIGINT and GEOINT tradecraft.

Responsibilities

  • Correlate SIGINT-derived identifiers and activity with maps, imagery, and terrain.
  • Build timelines and geospatial products.
  • Communicate findings clearly to operational and analytic stakeholders.
  • Maintain methodological rigor, document assumptions and confidence, and support RFIs under time constraints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in intelligence, GIS, geography, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with SIGINT observables and basic geolocation concepts (TDOA/FDOA/AOA fundamentals helpful).
  • Strong GEOINT skills and familiarity with mapping/imagery products and coordinate systems.
  • Proficiency with geospatial tools (ArcGIS/QGIS/Google Earth Pro; FalconView where applicable).
  • Ability to produce brief-ready geospatial graphics, overlays, and time/location event products.
  • Experience integrating metadata and multi-source contexts to raise analytic confidence.
  • Experience with conducting SIGINT collection operations, including system operating familiarity.
  • Strong writing skills for time-sensitive reporting and analytic notes.
  • Familiarity with RF environments (cellular/Wi-Fi/radios) and emitter characterization preferred.
  • Comfort working with data tables, identifiers, and link analysis concepts.
  • Ability to brief findings and answer RFIs in fast-paced operations.
  • Highly collaborative with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, on-time deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Curious, adaptable, and willing to learn new concepts to communicate them effectively.
