About the role
SoSACorp is seeking experienced engineers to provide SIGINT systems engineering and analysis for critical national programs in the Fairfax, VA area. Candidates should possess significant experience working on advanced technologies associated with SIGINT collection systems, Communications systems, or both.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis that leads to generation of requirements and CONOPS for SIGINT collection payloads.
- Work directly with other professionals to develop new capabilities for both ELINT and COMINT collection.
- Provide assessments of competing SIGINT systems designs and performance.
- Compute SIGINT-related performance measures to include link margins and probability of detection.
- Compute Communication systems performance measures to include link margins and BER.
- Analyze the performance of RF source geolocation techniques and determine sensitivities to various parameters of the collectors and the collection CONOPS.
- Communicate results of all analysis and assessments in written reports.
Requirements
- BS in an Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the responsibilities associated with this job.
- Significant experience with SIGINT payload systems and their hardware and software, especially ELINT.
- Significant experience with SIGINT signals analysis, link budgets, and RF receiver systems.
- Experience with RF source geolocation techniques.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with ability to work in a dynamic environment and to respond to immediate demands.
- Experience with analytic software to include general purpose tools such as MATLAB.
- TS/SCI with polygraph or willingness to take one.
Qualifications
- MS in Engineering Discipline (preferred).
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in the responsibilities associated with this job (preferred).
- Experience and understanding of digital communications systems engineering and analysis (preferred).
