About the role
HII–Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced and highly capable Siemens Teamcenter Administrator. The Teamcenter Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the Siemens Teamcenter PLM system to ensure smooth operation and effective integration with other enterprise systems. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, customizing workflows, and providing training and support to end users.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and optimize Teamcenter to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Customize and configure the PLM system to meet evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform system upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve PLM workflows.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the PLM environment.
- Provide training and technical support to end users on Teamcenter processes and tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to PLM processes and system configurations.
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 3 years with a Master’s degree; 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or a High School Diploma/equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of Teamcenter administration experience.
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts and processes.
- Proficiency in C++, Java, Perl, SQL databases, Windows/Linux server management, and scripting languages. Familiarity with system backups, upgrade processes, and workflow configuration.
- Experience working with helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Siemens Certified Professional or equivalent PLM certifications.
- Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Exposure to FedRAMP-authorized cloud platforms and a demonstrated understanding of federal IT security requirements and compliance frameworks.
- Experience contributing to or authoring IT policies, documentation, or formal IT project plans.
