About the role
The SIEM Content Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining security event and alert content for a leading cybersecurity firm.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SIEM dashboards and alerts
- Collaborate with security analysts to refine and improve content
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in SIEM solutions
- Contribute to the development of new SIEM features and integrations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SIEM content creation and management
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of common SIEM protocols and standards
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages
- Experience with SQL databases
- Understanding of network security concepts and attack vectors
