About the role
Prepares product for systems level assembly to include unpacking, set-up assembly, final packaging, and repair as required.
Responsibilities
- Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
- Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, packages and labels accessory items according to documented instructions
- Uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
- Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
- Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
- May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
- Notifies leadership of any shut down situations
- Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and links subassemblies to final unit
- Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
- All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds, Customer Satisfaction
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble units in certified repair operations
- Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under minimal supervision
Requirements
- 2+ years of SI (Systems Integration) experience
- Ability to perform repair or test; some heavy mechanical assembly
- Demonstrate good component recognition skills
- Understanding of basic computer skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate high attention to detail
- Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company
- Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
This is a safety-sensitive position. Impairment while performing job duties could pose a significant risk of harm. Pay
Compensation Range: $17.62 to $22.02 USD per hour plus shift differential. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
Schedule
Shift 2: Monday–Thursday, 15:45–01:30 (Full Time)
