Shuttle Driver / Service Porter | Hourly - Mercedes-Benz of Spokane

About the Role

As a Shuttle Driver / Service Porter, you'll be responsible for safely transporting customers to and from the dealership while their vehicles are being serviced. This position involves significant driving, with our shuttle vehicle averaging approximately 40,000 miles annually. During downtime between shuttle runs, you'll assist with various dealership support duties to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from designated locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the dealership professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicle.
• Plan efficient driving routes and adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist with cleaning dealership facilities, customer areas, and service lanes.
• Empty trash and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist with snow removal and ice management during winter conditions.
• Support the service department with miscellaneous porter duties as needed.
• Perform vehicle movements around the dealership when required.
• Complete additional facility or dealership support tasks during periods without scheduled shuttle runs.

Qualifications

• Excellent driving skills and strong safety awareness.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to perform light physical labor, including cleaning and snow removal.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
